Set The Scene For A Romantic Wedding Night PDF Print E-mail

When you and your bride have finished exchanging vows, greeting family and friends, and the first wedding dance and cake cutting are over, it's your time as a new couple to relax and enjoy being newlyweds. The wedding night has long symbolized romance and passion, so make it special and unforgettable for your bride.

Most couples don't head for their honeymoon immediately after the reception, but leave a few days or weeks after the wedding. They choose luxurious accommodations to spend their first night as man and wife together, and leave from the reception.

Find an intimate boutique hotel or glamorous suite at a five-star hotel. If the hotel has a newlywed suite, you'll be treated like royalty with extras such as complimentary champagne, an in-room hot tub or jacuzzi, and silk sheets. It's worth the money to indulge in a high-end hotel for your wedding night.

Think about what you can do to enhance your wedding night experience. Put together a sensual basket of massage oils for the bedside table, and bring soft music to play. Leave a handwritten note on the pillow for your new bride to find when the two of you arrive. Set the mood with chocolate-dipped strawberries, a bottle of chilled wine, and scented candles around the room. Cover the king-sized bed with red rose petals, or have fresh flowers delivered to your room before you get there. Also, make traveling to your hotel romantic by renting a horse-drawn carriage or limousine.

You can exchange gifts to one another on your wedding night, rather than at the rehearsal dinner or before the ceremony. Your gift to your bride should be personal and show that you put a lot of thought into choosing the perfect way to let her know how you feel. Wrap it up in an elegant box, and give it to your bride once you've popped the champagne.

A silky teddy or lacy bustier is a sexy gift to give your bride on your wedding night. Lingerie can really set the mood for a passionate wedding night, but make sure it's something that your new wife will be comfortable and confident in. You want her to feel beautiful on her weddng night, so let your gift reflect that.

Breakfast in bed is a wonderful treat after a romantic wedding night. Order eggs, bacon, pastries, fresh fruit and orange juice to be brought up to your suite. If your hotel room has a balcony, enjoy the view with a hot cup of coffee or a mimosa.

The hotel can take care of many of the arrangements, such as organizing flower deliveries, setting out delectable foods and wines, and even putting together romantic gift baskets for your wedding night stay. This way, you won't have to worry about racing to the hotel to toss rose petals on the bed or buying fresh strawberries to set out during your busy wedding day.

One more thing: don't forget to hang the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door!
