Colors
Hot pinks, bright corals, vibrant purples and shiny yellows
Incorporate one or more of these colors into your wedding for a bold, springtime statement! Choose from colorful flowers, to gorgeous cake decorations, aisle runners and more! While color is good, you will want to be careful and avoid drenching your wedding ceremony and reception in it. A bright pink sash looks great against a white dress or tablecloth and fuscia rose petals will stand out against white sand. For a classy look, try splashing hot pink accents with your traditional black and white!
Bright corals are excellent for springtime weddings because different shades mimic the colors of the gorgeous, emerging flowers of the season. Try finding a few bright salmon or orange flowers to add to your bouquet, or place coral colored rose petals in bowls of floating candles to decorate your reception. Vibrant peaches also work well for groomsmen's ties and scarves as well as for accents such as wedding favors, decorations and more.
Purple is often forgotton when wedding colors are considered, but with the blooming of lilacs in early spring, purple wedding accents can give your wedding the perfect springtime touch! Skip the pale purples and go with a more bold violet for a trendier statement or for an elegant look, try a rich, dark plum. Purples look excellent against the smooth, white background of a delicious wedding cake, or nestled in with traditional flowers in the bridesmaids bouquets.
Yellows practically scream spring and incorporating them into an April or May wedding can make everything all the livelier. Daffodils, lilies and dasies create the perfectly whimsical springtime bouquet or reception centerpiece and unique and quirky touches such as lemon slices can be added to create depth. Bright yellow orchids with their pink accents look absolutely stunning when used in tropical weddings and satiny yellow bridesmaid dresses will make every detail stand out.
