As your wedding approaches, you want to get fit and look the best you can on the big day. You know you'll be the center of everyone's attention and of course, the last thing you want is your guests scrutinizing your body's flaws when they should be admiring your beauty. Wedding fitness can be tough though - where do you start? What exercises do you need to do so you look great in your wedding gown? We're going to help you learn what exercises will best shape a realistic wedding fitness plan so you can trim down and get fit while adding muscle tone before your special day.

Start With The Arms

Most brides start by working on their trouble spots including their waist, hips and thighs. While these are definitely legitimate areas to tone down, keep in mind that a bulge or two can be lovingly tucked into a helpful undergarment for the day. They don't make these things for arms and if you're in the majority, you have a little more in the arm area than you'd probably like. While this isn't much of a concern for brides that choose long sleeved dresses, many more brides are selecting wedding gowns that are sleeveless, spaghetti strap or completely strapless. These dress styles bring all the attention to your upper body, so it's a good idea to start toning this area first. Try lifting weights in a combination of arm positons to start losing the inches.

Move On To Your Chest

Many of today's modern wedding gown styles are designed to enhance the bust area. Your breasts are likely to take center stage - especially for the groom. The last thing you want is a lifeless, sagging chest. While you can definitely use sexy push-up lingerie to help, you'll do much better if you include a few simple exercises that are geared specifically for that area. Try doing a few push ups and butterfly moves with weights to help strengthen the muscles that will be holding everything up.

Tone Your Butt

Let's face it - everyone is going to be staring at your rear end for the better part of the wedding ceremony. Don't you want it to look great? Do a combination of exercises to increase muscle tone and reduce flab in this area. You can try squats, leg lifts and reverse sit ups using an exercise ball.

Of course, any exercise regimen that you employ before your wedding will get your body in shape for the big day. It's important, however, not to go overboard. Remember that your husband to be fell in love with you just the way you are and you don't have to morph into something else to be found attractive. Try to avoid setting unrealistic goals for yourself, because you'll only end up frustrated. Your goal is to simply look - and feel - great on the most special day of your life.
